It has been announced by Activision that a new in-game event named ‘Return to Verdansk’ will be coming to Call of Duty: Warzone to celebrate the return of the iconic Verdansk map which many Call of Duty: Warzone fans have been waiting a long time for. The map was originally confirmed to return in Spring 2025 will be available on the 3rd of April, 2025.
The event, Return to Verdansk will offer players rewards but at this time, the details of the rewards remain unknown.
A support studio for Call of Duty, Beenox, has rebuilt Verdansk from the ground up and it includes improved textures and visuals whilst also keeping it faithful to the original Verdansk map that was released in 2020.
Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone will also reportedly bring back classis operators and weapons from Modern Warfare, with leaks hinting at the returns of Kilo 141, HDR, Grau 5.56, and AMAX, as well as the controversial operator, Roze.
Not too long now before Warzone fans will be able to revisit Verdansk and experience all the new updates of this new season.
