Unexpected Nintendo Direct Announced for March 27

A Nintendo Direct has been officially announced by Nintendo and will take place on March 27, at 7 AM PT!

Tune in tomorrow, March 27th, at 7 a.m. PT for a livestreamed #NintendoDirect, featuring around 30 minutes of upcoming games for Nintendo Switch. There will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation.

We were expecting the next Nintendo Direct to focus on the Nintendo Switch in April but rumours have been swirling regarding the Nintendo Direct being earlier, These rumours now seem to have been confirmed but the focus on the 27th of March will be upcoming games for the original Switch.

Nintendo have stated that the Nintendo Direct event will last around 30 minutes and will not include any news regarding the Nintendo Switch 2.

Speculation has suggested that possible announcements during the Nintendo Direct on the 27th of March will be for Zelda HD remasters and Metroid Prime 2 & 3.

The Switch 2 Direct will still be taking place on April 2nd at 6AM PT.
